Real estate photography in Utah runs $150 to $200 for a typical listing, photos only. Add drone and you'll pay $275 to $345. Packages with video or a Matterport tour start around $450, and the biggest luxury bundles reach $1,150.

Those figures come from the price pages of five Utah providers, checked on October 16, 2026. One of them is mine: I run Utah Realty Photos out of Eagle Mountain. Every competitor number below links to that company's own site so you can check it.

Photo-only shoots: $150 to $200

A standard interior and exterior shoot of a home under about 2,500 square feet sits in a tight band. Where providers actually differ is in how many finished photos you get, how quickly they land in your inbox, and whether drone or twilight work is bundled in or billed on top.

Provider Price What's stated Where they work
Utah Realty Photos $150 Up to 25 HDR photos, next business day Utah County, Wasatch Front
Gloho Photo from $185 HDR interior and exterior, next business day Northern Utah, St. George
R\E Media Utah from $195 About 1–2 photos per room, 24 hours Salt Lake based, statewide
HomeCoin $197 24-hour delivery; photo count not listed Salt Lake City
Kaizen $85 / $125 / $155 25, 40 or 60 HDR photos, à la carte Park City page, statewide

Kaizen's à la carte rates are the low outlier. Virtuance, a national company with a Salt Lake City page, puts the local range at $150 to $500 or more per shoot.

Drone adds roughly $100 to $150

Bundled with a full photo shoot, drone puts most Utah packages between $275 and $345. Sold separately, five drone stills cost $75 at Kaizen and $95 at Utah Realty Photos, and Gloho lists aerial photos at $160.

The bundles aren't built the same way, which is why reading the contents matters more than reading the price:

  • Utah Realty Photos Professional, $275. Up to 40 photos, 5 drone, 1 virtual twilight, delivered in 24 hours.
  • Gloho HDR + Drone, from $300. Their standard HDR set plus drone.
  • R\E Media Premium Plus, from $325. Adds aerials, a basic floor plan and a marketing kit.
  • Kaizen Essential, $345. 40 photos, 12 drone, a basic Matterport tour, a 30-second drone video and 1 virtual twilight.

Kaizen's bundle carries the most items at this tier, which is good value if you'll actually use the 3D tour and the drone clip and money spent on extras if you won't. More on aerial options on the drone photography page.

Video and 3D packages: $450 to $1,150

The spread here is wide because "video" covers everything from a 30-second vertical reel to a three-minute cinematic piece, and only some packages include a Matterport tour.

Package Price Video 3D tour
Utah Realty Photos Premium $450 30-second Social Reel Not included
Gloho Premium from $475 1-minute highlight Not included
R\E Media Luxury from $595 Mini-tour or reel Add-on
Kaizen Professional $695 60-second interior and exterior Matterport Plus
Utah Realty Photos Luxury $795 Cinematic, up to 2 minutes Matterport
Kaizen Maximum $995 Full tour with drone, 2–5 minutes Matterport Plus
Gloho Luxury (over 5,000 sq ft) $850 or $1,150 3-minute highlight Optional, in the $1,150 version

Add-on prices across Utah

Add-ons are where quotes quietly drift apart. A twilight line item can mean a $25 edit or a $275 return trip at dusk.

Add-on Utah Realty Photos Kaizen Gloho R\E Media
Virtual twilight, per photo $25 $25 $25 Not listed
Twilight shoot at dusk Not listed $195 $250 $275 (3 images)
Virtual staging, per photo $45 $40 $80 $49
2D floor plan $95 $95 from $65 $55
Matterport tour $199 (up to 3,000 sq ft) $125 basic from $185 $150 per 1,000 sq ft standalone
Rush delivery Not listed $95 same day Not listed $75 under 24 hrs, $150 same day

Real twilight means the photographer comes back at dusk, so it costs a second appointment. Virtual twilight converts a daytime exterior in editing. The twilight photography page shows both.

One listing, four quotes

Here is the same house priced from each provider's published rates: a 2,400 square foot home, about 40 photos, five drone shots and one twilight exterior.

Provider How it's built Total
Kaizen 40 HDR ($125) + 5 drone ($75) + 1 virtual twilight ($25) $225
Utah Realty Photos Professional package $275
Gloho HDR + Drone (from $300) + 1 virtual twilight ($25) from $325
R\E Media Premium Plus (from $325); no virtual twilight listed, real twilight $275 from $325, or $600 with twilight

Kaizen comes out cheapest on paper. Before you pick on price alone, check what the page doesn't say: Kaizen's à la carte turnaround and travel terms aren't published, Gloho's listed service area doesn't include Utah County, and R\E Media prices by square footage without publishing the tiers. Those gaps can move a quote by more than the $50 to $100 difference in the table.

Six things that move a quote

  1. Square footage. Most providers price by size. Utah Realty Photos packages cover up to 2,500 square feet, then add $50 and 10 photos per extra 1,000, so a 4,500 square foot home on the Professional package runs $375 with up to 60 photos.
  2. Photo count. "About 1–2 per room" on a four-bedroom house might be 20 photos or 35. Ask for a number.
  3. Drone. Included at the mid tier by some providers, an add-on with everyone at the entry tier.
  4. Twilight type. A dusk visit costs $195 to $275. A virtual conversion costs about $25.
  5. Video length. A 30-second reel and a two-minute cinematic tour are different products with different prices.
  6. Travel and rush. R\E Media notes travel charges beyond 25 miles from Salt Lake City, and rush delivery adds $75 to $150 where it's offered.

Questions to ask before you book

Price comparisons fall apart when the terms underneath them differ, so line these up first:

  • How many finished photos will I get for this square footage?
  • When exactly will they arrive? "24 hours" and "next business day" are not the same thing on a Friday shoot.
  • What can I use the photos for? R\E Media's packages are licensed for the MLS only. Utah Realty Photos licenses images for marketing the property on the MLS, Zillow, social media, print and your own website.
  • How long do download links last? R\E Media's expire after 30 days. Utah Realty Photos galleries stay up for 45 days, and you can buy an extension if you need longer.
  • What happens if the gallery isn't right? Utah Realty Photos reshoots it, or you don't pay for it.
  • Is there a travel fee to this address? Ours is calculated from the address and shown before you confirm.

Is it worth paying for?

On most Utah listings the cost is small next to everything else riding on the sale. A $275 package on a $500,000 listing is about 0.06% of the price. NAR's 2025 Profile of Home Buyers and Sellers found that most buyers start their search online, which makes the photos the first look most buyers get.
